Expression of Interest process
APEN invites an expression of interest from suitably qualified and experienced independent contractor interested in the supply of Executive Officer services. The proposed scope of these services is to provide office support, governance functions, membership and records management, communications support, marketing/promotion and more importantly relationship-building across members and partners (with clear service expectations/KPIs).
General description of the Executive Officer services:
- Managing and implementing the organisation’s strategic, business affairs, and operational objectives to achieve a visible and vibrant networking community
- Acting as the Board’s point of contact to action requests, coordinate and implement communications, and proactively ensure responses meet deadlines
- Actively building and sustaining relationships across APEN’s membership, partner organisations, and the wider extension and innovation community to strengthen visibility, and impact

- Preferred flexible working arrangements to deliver on average 0.4 FTE equivalent of services
- Proposed fee structure (monthly retainer / hourly rates for additional projects; confirm GST)
