Tayla Field (Tas Nth)

I live just south of Hobart, right where the smaller acreage blocks start. It’s a place that feels like home the moment I turn into the driveway. I love the peace and quiet and having enough space to garden and spend time outdoors. Being close enough to Hobart for work and day-to-day life but being able to come home to some space makes it a beautiful spot!

I joined APEN because I’m relatively new to extension and wanted the opportunity to learn from people with strong practical experience.

Being part of a professional network where I can access useful resources, advice, and real-world examples was the main motivator for me.

My core values are curiosity, integrity, and community. I enjoy learning and understanding new things, I try to be honest and reliable in how I work, and I value supporting the people and communities around me.
