Regional and Local Events
APEN holds regional and local cluster events as required. Local cluster events are something that many members appreciate, so why not organise a local get together.
It can be as easy as a counter meal at the local pub and a discussion to see what people would like to do? To make the night even more attractive organise a speaker or have someone demonstrate something that would be of interest.
Roe at APEN Ltd can help with a list of member’s email addresses or a message to members in your local area can be sent on your behalf. To identify other members in your local area have a look at the Member’s Directory. Roe is also available to discuss possibilities or provide suggestions to help you make your event run more smoothly. Contact her by email at info@apen.org.au.
In 2014 an APEN Support for Regional Events Program was introduced. Its aim is to provide some grant moneys and seed funding to help initiate and run local events. For information see the downloadable application form APEN Regional Events Small Grants Program (112 KB) and/or contact APEN Ltd, Dr Roe Currie at info@apen.org.au.
We also have a number of documents to help in running events:
- Financial aspects of running events (35 KB Word doc)
- APEN activity proposal proforma to be filled out for the event (122 KB Word doc)
- Registration form proforma (62 KB Word doc)
- Registration sheet (44 KB Word doc).
