Co-creating the Australasian extension publication (AEP)
Forum'07 will be the collaboration by leading natural resource managers, extension professionals and delegates to develop an historic cross disciplinary extension publication the working title of which is The Australasian Extension Publication (AEP), to be published in 2008.

APEN's National Forum'07 will deliver an interactive professional development program for delegates, with authors presenting their work for feedback and discussion to cover everything you need to know about contemporary extension methods and practice.

Get on board contemporary extension... who should come and why
Forum'07 is a high-level professional development opportunity for young and experienced practitioners alike. This includes graduates and post-graduates in NRM or Agronomy, field officers, project and program managers, policy makers, academics, industry representatives and anyone in between with an interest in building the capacity and sustainability of rural and regional Australia.

NRM professionals: gain an understanding of how you can capitalise on the work, methods and theories that help enable change from the developing world of extension.

Production extension professionals: orient yourself in this changing landscape, gain an understanding of your role, appreciate the complexity of demands on you and find tools, resources and frameworks to assist in your daily practice in the field.
